Beside the World Trade Centre metro station

Burj Azizi rises on Sheikh Zayed Road next to the World Trade Centre metro station, on a plot Azizi bought in September 2022 (Gulf News, 4 September 2024). Gulf News described it then as a freehold residential tower.

Burj Khalifa, at 828 metres, is only a few kilometres away (Gulf News, 24 February 2026). When the height was announced, Gulf News noted that Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur, then the second tallest, measures 679 metres (4 September 2024).

Apartments, penthouses, a hotel and five record levels

Azizi plans a vertical mix of homes, hospitality and leisure inside the 725 metre tower (press release, 7 May 2026):

  • Residences: one, two and three bedroom apartments, with ultra-luxury penthouses on the upper residential floors, each with a dedicated lobby.
  • Amenity levels: pools, a spa, a gym and yoga centre, a cinema, a games room, dining and retail.
  • Hotel: a seven-star, all-suite hotel with seven cultural themes, a ballroom and a beach club.
  • Museum: at the top, telling the story of the tower's construction.

The developer's latest figures are 140 storeys and 2029. For a buyer, the date that counts is the one in the sale and purchase agreement and the Oqood registered with the Dubai Land Department; NAHY checks it before you sign.

Site progress in 2026: car park, raft foundation and steel

  1. November 2024: construction of the tower's car park building started (Azizi, 3 April 2026).
  2. 14 April 2026: Mirwais Azizi signed the structural steel contract for the tower with Eversendai Corporation Berhad (Dubai Media Office).
  3. 7 May 2026: Azizi reported work on the raft foundation, a continuous concrete slab five metres thick that spreads the tower's load. The car park, with nine basement levels reaching almost 30 metres below ground, took a 7,000 cubic metre concrete pour in about 40 hours. About 750 workers were on site every day.

Azizi's Executive Director Kang Sang Ku, who leads the engineering, worked on Burj Khalifa (press release, 7 May 2026).

Buying a residence in Burj Azizi through NAHY

Azizi said on 24 February 2026 that apartments in Burj Azizi are available. Stock changes by floor and type, so NAHY checks the current list first. Then settle three things:

  1. Type and floor band. Apartments and penthouses sit on different floors, and penthouses have their own lobbies. Ask which floors are still open for your type.
  2. Completion date in the contract. Compare it with the 2029 date Azizi gave in February 2026.
  3. Escrow and Oqood. Payments go to the project's escrow account, and the contract is registered in Oqood.

The price list, payment plan and floor plans change with each release. NAHY sends them on WhatsApp.

Azizi Developments, the company behind the tower

Azizi Developments was founded by Mirwais Azizi; the company dates its own start to 2007 (press release, 7 May 2026). It reports more than 45,000 homes delivered and about 150,000 units under construction, including the master communities of Azizi Riviera, Azizi Venice and Azizi Milan (press release on June 2026 sales, July 2026).

In 2026 Azizi registered eight more buildings with the Dubai Land Department, including Azizi Wares, Azizi Lina and Azizi Leily (DLD project register, read 8 November 2026).

NAHY Real Estate is a registered sales partner of Azizi Developments and has been recognised by the developer.
